Alan on the Issues - Rural Development

Kansans are proud of our way of life in the 1st district. Population decline is threatening our communities. We must increase opportunities throughout our state if we are to preserve our great heritage. Small business is the main engine of job growth in the United States. Job creation will ensure that future generations of Kansans will prosper in our district. We must provide incentives for small, agriculture-related businesses, as well as extend broadband Internet access to rural communities.
